The company has already launched the new Hyundai Creta and is now working on several other new models. 1. Hyundai Tucson


The Hyundai Tucson is a popular SUV in international markets and is finally coming to India. The SUV was first showcased at the Auto Expo in 2018 and is expected to launch in India in early 2021. The Tucson will be positioned above the Creta in Hyundai's lineup and will compete against the likes of the Jeep Compass and Volkswagen Tiguan. Upcoming Hyundai Cars in India 2023


The India-spec Tucson will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 150 PS and 195 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Hyundai is also expected to offer a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with 175 PS and 265 Nm of torque. This engine will come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only.


2. Hyundai Santa Fe


The Hyundai Santa Fe is another SUV that is expected to launch in India in 2021. The Santa Fe is upcoming Hyundai Car in India 2023 a larger and more premium offering than the Tucson and will compete against the likes of the Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. The SUV was first showcased at the Auto Expo in 2016 and was expected to launch in India in 2018. However, the launch was delayed due to various reasons.


The India-spec Santa Fe will be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai is also expected to offer a 2.0-litre petrol engine with 240 PS and 350 Nm of torque. This engine will come with a six-speed automatic transmission only.



3. Hyundai Elantra


The Hyundai Elantra is a popular sedan in international markets and is expected to launch in India in 2021. The sedan was first showcased at the Auto Expo in 2016 and was expected to launch in India in 2017. However, the launch was delayed due to various reasons. The Elantra will compete against the likes of the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla Altis.


The India-spec Elantra will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 149 PS and 179 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai is also expected to offer a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with 201 PS and 264 Nm of torque. This engine will come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only.



The Hyundai Verna is another popular sedan in international markets and is expected to launch in India in 2021. The sedan was first showcased at the Auto Expo in 2018 and is expected to launch in India in early 2021. The Verna will compete against the likes of the Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.


The India-spec Verna will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 113 PS and 144 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai is also expected to offer a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with 177 PS and 265 Nm of torque. This engine will come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only.
